Description
Screwfly Studios is a two-man developer based in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia. The studio, established in late 2011, is comprised of David Kidd and Logan Booker. Screwfly has released five titles since its founding: Zafehouse: Diaries, a post-apocalyptic zombie survival simulator told entirely via a dynamic journal; Deadnaut, a sci-fi, squad-based RTS where players must explore derelict alien starships filled with randomly-generated crew logs and dangerous horrors; Fear Equation, a first-person management sim where the player takes control of a modified freight train in an end-of-the-world scenario; Zafehouse Diaries 2, a refreshed, hi-def sequel to the original Zafehouse; and Deadnaut: Signal Lost, a turn-based sci-fi horror roguelike set in the Deadnaut universe.
History
Current activitiesScrewfly has just released Deadnaut: Signal Lost, an indirect sequel to 2014's Deadnaut. Signal Lost is a slick, fast-paced roguelike where the player takes control of a single Deadnaut, unlocking suit upgrades and abilities, fighting cosmic horrors, and investigating drifting wrecks and abandoned moons.
